Meet Sondra

I specialize in working with women who are navigating chronic illness such as autoimmunity and especially those women who are experiencing hair loss.

My Story

I know what it’s like to live and work in “hustle” mode and I’ve experienced my own health consequences as a result of that lifestyle and as a result of being a caregiver to everyone in my life except myself.

The wake-up call didn’t come until my hair began falling out and I received a diagnosis by default of autoimmunity known as Alopecia.

Losing my hair was something I couldn’t run from or hide. It was devastating, embarrassing and humiliating, but it taught me the importance of taking care of myself and self-love. I enrolled in a yoga ateacher training program, changed my diet and lifestyle, and began advocating for busy women to take back their health and their lives. In the process, I discovered my true authentic self. I decided to officially launch my health coaching practice after completing certification as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, the largest and world-renowned health coaching organization.

Success and achievement were my primary focus from the start of my career. An over-achiever who started college in the summer ahead of everyone else, working all the way through college, graduating and entering the business world. I worked my way up through the ranks, rubbing elbows with CEO’s in board rooms and negotiating multi-million dollar business contracts.

Along the way, one of my two daughters was born with Congenital Heart Disease. For several years, I juggled it all until my daughter experienced a massive stroke during an open-heart surgery. I made a decision to step away from my career to focus on my family, not realizing that would open the doors to entrepreneurial and global opportunities including writing a book, cofounding a national non-profit organization, volunteering and traveling on five international mission trips, becoming a wellness enthusiast and a registered yoga instructor.

I spent time working with other non-profit organizations focused on serving the aging community and people with disabilities. Recently I returned to the corporate realm, putting my experiences to work coaching business owners on how to run profitable, sustainable, purpose-driven businesses.  The common thread through all these endeavors has been the need to find balance between health, family, financial success, and career success.

My specialty is building and growing deep, trusted relationships by putting myself in the shoes of my clients through listening, asking questions, empathizing, and helping the client connect the dots between their needs and potential solutions and growth opportunities.

“Sondra has a calming presence that puts you at ease, listens intently, and helps you connect the dots to transformation in your wellness journey.”
